Unilever Starts Omo Production in China

Completes phase I of Unilever Project West manufacturing base in Sichuan.

Phase I of Unilever Project West, the company’s global manufacturing base in Meishan, Sichuan, China, has been completed and become officially operational. With an investment of about €40 million, Phase I of the project is responsible for the production of Omo laundry detergent series with an annual capacity of nearly 200,000 tons.
